For three hours each Saturday night, from 8 pm to 11 pm Central, I play the best in the traditional country from yesterday and today on the New Country Traditions Radio Show, blending classic country music from the past with emerging singers and songwriters redefining the genre for a new generation.

I recently traveled to Vancouver Island, BC, and spent a few hours in some of Canada’s best thrift stores digging through their used CD collections. I was happy to see that Traditional Country still hits for the Canucks. On the June 15th, 2024 episode, I play some of my favorite songs inspired by those rural Canadian thrift stores.
